A mini day at last....

Yesterday I was feeling really good, 1st time for a while.

So I spent the afternoon inside Somerset house, I was able to plug in all my lamps, in each room I have placed a socket in each corner, this enable me to change lamps and to add things without having to go to the lighting controls at the back of the house, since I brought this system I have found this very use full. The rooms are all tidy since the house move, I have not changed anything around, just took out a few summer things. I am also pleased since the move I have resisted using this area to dump things and it's staying tidy.
One job I have to finish is putting the card bricks up the side of the house, I did get them out yesterday but did not start them, but I'm not going to pack them away, I have a plumber in tomorrow and will have a go whilst he is working in the sitting and dining rooms attaching our new radiators to our system.

Up date

I'm not doing much on the mini side at this time, my op went well and now I have to rest and get better, to keep up to date read my other blog where I ramble on. Hope you are all well, I love to keep up to date with you all.

Just a note

I have been busy in my garden in the past week, and spent far to many visit's to our local hospital.

I have not had much time to do any mini's.

This Saturday morning, we are off to France for a week, we are chasing the sunshine.

So this is my last blog here for a couple of weeks, I will try and enjoy the food and wine with Kev, Su and Gav.

Easter

Just to wish everyone a Happy Easter

I have not done anything miniature, been busy in our big house and garden, we have had a very sad start to the Easter weekend, and I can't see things getting better any time soon.

Nothing happening

Well, nothing much is happening here, it has rained non stop for days, I'm sure someone must be building an arc. We are very busy on our big house, you can catch up with all the details here

We had done loads, but we are about to start phase two, the living area.

I have done nothing with Somerset house, I still have a box of items to place, it's all the great things I have collected thought the past 5 years. Each weekend I think I will keep an hour to make a start and the time just flies by.


I have finally finished sorting my office space and have everything where it should be, I have finally removed the plastic drawers which looked dreadful, they have been banished to our attic (Loft) with all my spare stuff in. Can I ask how much spare stuff can a woman have!! I am sure Kev must be a saint for putting up with all the stuff, and still I mange to go shopping and buy more.

I think I need to visit a miniature show and get my bug going again, there is nothing like a good show, where you can touch and fall in love with loads of mini items, One of my favorite location, the Lymington show on the edge of the new forest in Hampshire is on in early April, and I can't wait.

Hello

Hello, it's me again, we are in our bungalow, mostly settled, builder free for the mo.
I have sorted my office space, I now share a larger room with Kev, but I don't have so much room of my own. I have two photo's showing my area.

Somerset house is set up, at this point I have no basement and garden area, but that will follow and I am making plans to do the roof area with a couple of rooms.



In my first picture you can see my desk and my room boxes, I have given away one shop, and in the process gained another person to our hobby, Julie is planning to have a Christmas shop, working through out the year towards the grand opening in November. I will have pic's when the time comes.

Most of my other projects still are here, could not get rid of the kitchen, toy shop or beach hut.

I will have to find places for my beach hut and work room, but for now they sit on top of my house.

We are busy decorating the spare bedroom, and planning when the warmer weather comes, we can sort the sitting and dining room.
That's all for now, going to have a go with the Wii dance game, should be fun.

Update

My house and craft items are still in store, the resident cat is looking after it well.
We have our big house full of builders, plumbers and decoraters,
Only one more week of building work left.

I am enjoying keeping up with your blogs, I can check online whilst I'm at work.
We are planning to bring the house back on 22nd November.

New House

Just a quick note, we are in the bungalow, all my dolls house things are still in storage until the builders have gone, but most important I have space for Somerset House and most of my room boxes. Our internet will be sorted soon, I have to check online in work, I am lucky I have a very understanding boss.

What a mess

We are busy here, just starting to pack boxes, my craft room is the first place I am tackling.
As yet we still do not have a moving date, but we have just signed loads of papers, so this week we should have a firm date.

I am packing my projects and house this Thursday, I am not looking forward to doing it, it's such a large job, once packed we will put it all into storage, so on moving day it will be safe.

Nothing happening

I have not been busy on the mini front, I am planning my packing of the house and room boxes, ready for our move, but we do not have a moving date yet, very frustrating!

I hope to do one last blog on my house, before the packing, my yellow bed room, but as I should be packing for a weekend away with Kev, Hubby, that will be early next week.
