Another award

I would like to thank Rachel for this award, it arrived on a day spent in my local hospital after loads of test, and an operation booked for 8.30am tomorrow.

Spring time

With spring in the air, I thought it was time to place my spring plants, I have brought each at local shows, Its the big show at Lyndhurst next weekend, and I won't be able to get there.
So I am saving my pocket money for later in the year.

I will pop to Hobby craft later in the week, I have to make Joshua a pair of black trousers with a red stripe up each leg, he is going to a show in Southampton, and wants to go as
Murray Wiggle.
You should search out the Wiggles, they are great fun.

Easter

Just to wish everyone a Happy Easter

I have not done anything miniature, been busy in our big house and garden, we have had a very sad start to the Easter weekend, and I can't see things getting better any time soon.

I do visit all your sites and love to read all your tales, see you soon.

Hot Planting

I am still not doing much to Somerset House

As you can see, I am not able to get to the front door at the moment. we have just had all new blinds put into our windows and I have had to remove the cati from my window sill.
I love cati and have loads, in our old house I had a porch full of them, here I have to find a place for them to live.

Fliss has just ordered another smaller house, she has stored her big house for now, so hopefully when that arrives I will work with her and then start to enjoy my house again.

We have been so busy on the bungalow, and will have the builders back for a couple of days next week, Kev is busy sorting things ready for their arrival.

I have just finished making Su's wedding cards, and soon we will be shopping for her wedding dress material, we already have a pattern.

I have a few health issues, and with so many things happening my mini world is at a stand still. But we did hear some good news another baby to come in our family.

Nothing happening

Well, nothing much is happening here, it has rained non stop for days, I'm sure someone must be building an arc. We are very busy on our big house, you can catch up with all the details here

We had done loads, but we are about to start phase two, the living area.

I have done nothing with Somerset house, I still have a box of items to place, it's all the great things I have collected thought the past 5 years. Each weekend I think I will keep an hour to make a start and the time just flies by.


I have finally finished sorting my office space and have everything where it should be, I have finally removed the plastic drawers which looked dreadful, they have been banished to our attic (Loft) with all my spare stuff in. Can I ask how much spare stuff can a woman have!! I am sure Kev must be a saint for putting up with all the stuff, and still I mange to go shopping and buy more.

I think I need to visit a miniature show and get my bug going again, there is nothing like a good show, where you can touch and fall in love with loads of mini items, One of my favorite location, the Lymington show on the edge of the new forest in Hampshire is on in early April, and I can't wait.

Hello

Hello, it's me again, we are in our bungalow, mostly settled, builder free for the mo.
I have sorted my office space, I now share a larger room with Kev, but I don't have so much room of my own. I have two photo's showing my area.

Somerset house is set up, at this point I have no basement and garden area, but that will follow and I am making plans to do the roof area with a couple of rooms.



In my first picture you can see my desk and my room boxes, I have given away one shop, and in the process gained another person to our hobby, Julie is planning to have a Christmas shop, working through out the year towards the grand opening in November. I will have pic's when the time comes.

Most of my other projects still are here, could not get rid of the kitchen, toy shop or beach hut.

I will have to find places for my beach hut and work room, but for now they sit on top of my house.

We are busy decorating the spare bedroom, and planning when the warmer weather comes, we can sort the sitting and dining room.
That's all for now, going to have a go with the Wii dance game, should be fun.

We are sorted

Well here we are, Somerset house is now back where it belongs, it's not totally sorted, I still have things to place. Except for one small breakage everything moved Ok. Its very snug by my desk. I am having time off between Christmas and New year so I can place every thing. I am planning to do the attics first and get my maids bedroom in place.




I have had to downsize a bit, my last project a shop is now with a friend for her to work on. I have my shop and kitchen all sorted and lit again, which is a great joy to me. My desk space is about the same but my space in the office is shrunk, I now share my office with Kev my hubby.

We are still without the internet, SKY has decided we can manage without a phone line for another month, which is great service, I don't think so.
I am typing this in my work office, I have a great boss.
I wont be able to see your blogs until the new year, but I don look forward to seeing what you are all doing.

It's raining here has done so all day, a true grey day for our shortest day. We did have snow last Thursday but it did not amount to very much and did not last.
